Chemistry, skill or gift?
When you meet your special someone, its second nature for occurrences of completing each other's sentences, egging the other party to hang up first when ending the phone conversation, or even sharing everything - an umbrella or a bowl of ice-cream.
But some just can't figure out how to 'connect'... Frequency is always an issue. At the end of it, the bottomline is if you have to make an effort to 'connect', it kind of diminishes the whole magic of relationships isn't it? Then again, some would give anything to 'connect' with their dream lady. Like fishing information from her closest friends, or better still, ask upfront.
If you are a guy reading this, I tell you from a perspective of a practical woman, just be practical! Don't get me wrong, its not dollars BUT sense.
1) Take initiative - Your ranking in her list of shortlisted suitors may go to the dogs if you expect your lady to make the first move. Yes, you too have the right to choose, but taking initiative scores under the category of first impression.
2) Ain't no pushover - As much as you don't like to be told what to do, your lady never wished to be your mother anyway. On the other hand, if she has to hint you to do little things for her, she is going to feel that next time, she has to beg you. Ask anyone, WHY SHOULD SHE?
3) Practical romance - Again, I stress - not dollars but sense! If you feel that a bouquet of 99 roses with a nice romantic dinner writes off the string frustrations you gave her for the remaining 364 days, you may better off just a friend. As for her, her accumulated angst may have been moved to the KIV tray from IN, certainly NOT OUT!
It is tough maneuvering around the complicated maze of women’s emotions. I do not contest that at anytime. However, if love strikes, I am quite sure you would do anything for her. Even if it means having to engage in a long conversation just for the sake of finding out what she likes and dislikes. Guess what, this happens to be a “decent conversation” to a lady!
