(spelt oddly enough without a capital "e") says he isn't a pick-up artist but admits to being fairly love experienced. Being a grad student and researcher, he has a penchant for reading and experimentation and consequently understands the dating game quite a bit better than the average Joe. He has been a hospital psychologist, a polytechnic lecturer, a pageant contestant, a martial arts teacher, and a national medallist in Chinese kung fu. In his undergrad days, he founded a student club and was chairman of several other committees.

An experienced leader, teacher and mentor, eastpaw has always been interested in developing people physically, emotionally and mentally. His approach to romance and relationships has a lot to do with being a real man, and by "real man", he's not talking about looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He asserts that a man needs to be strong, bold, self-sufficient and self-assured in order to be attractive and to be able to contribute to a relationship. Being funny on top of that is a big plus. The large part of what he does with people is therefore "inner game" and self-actualisation related; he says it's not right helping someone get the girl if you're not also helping him become a better man.

In case you wonder who is this guy who has been giving practical advice regularly in our forum; well he is Mr. Sam Choo. A jolly good fellow, who is happily married to the same girl for 16 years.

Sam wears many hats— besides being a loving husband and dad of 2 kids age 4 and 5, he is a para counsellor, a certified trainer by STADA and also a toastmasters of 7 years. So far he has conducted many successful training workshops in public speaking.
